Classes: Joel Goldsmith travelled the world many times in response to invitations from students who were eager to hear his message. He first came to New Zealand in 1958 and again in 1960. Following his transition in 1964, New Zealand students were blessed with many opportunities to attend talks, mainly in Auckland, Christchurch and Taupo. These were given by Lorraine Sinkler (late of Florida) editor of many of Joel's books, Eileen Bowden (late of Canada) and Virginia Stephenson of Hawaii, all of whom had studied closely with Joel and had been encouraged by him to take on a teaching role. Other teachers have since emerged in various parts of the world, and since 1990 two New Zealanders have been invited to speak. These are Margaret Macfarlane who has taught in Auckland and Queensland Australia, and Margaret Ponga who has taught in New Zealand, and accepted invitations to Australia, USA, France, Germany and England. John Stephenson of Hawaii, has also been invited to speak in New Zealand in recent years. Forthcoming Talks (If there is not a specific contact below, please feel welcome to enquire further by emailing - jsgnz@kinect.co.nz ) - with Margaret Ponga (Margaret was raised in this message by her mother, and also studied and travelled with Virginia Stephenson.)
